Bud`s restaurant in Defiance

This is a cozy little place with about 10-12 tables. Food was amazing! The waitress was super nice and prices are good. Not a crazy amount of options available but most of it seems to be made in house! Will definitely be back!!

Love the old yet modern dining look to it. Staff was very nice and attentive. The food came out hot and was tasty. The men's bathroom was cramped in a small corner and not roomy at all.

Had the burger in a basket. Their hamburgers are the best! And the French fries are good too!

Buds is an awesome classic diner. Matt and the staff are awesome. This is where the locals go for breakfast & lunch. Bud’s is a warm and comfortable as the pies they make.

Best burger I've had in a while. Neat atmosphere. Was like time travel to a simpler era. Not sure when I'll be back to Defiance, but will eat at Bud's if I am anywhere close.

Excellent burgers and pies. Great music. Hamburgers were outstanding. I had the cherry cheese pie and my wife had the lemon meringue. Both were great. The crust was particularly good. Would definitely come here again.

Excellent food! What stands out most is how fresh the food is! Proportions are just right, cooked to perfection, and scrumptious pie! And a very nice personable staff! I'll be coming back lots more! Pictured is the Big Bud with tomato and a side order of fries.

I absolutely loved the small town feel of this place. Great service, great diner food, great pies! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I had a salad, chicken tenders, fries, cole slaw and a piece of blueberry cheese pie! All phenomenal. I will definitely be back.

Amazing. What else can I say? The gravy on the B&G perfectly compliments the sausage Patty and links. It's like the meat is local grown. When that sausage is chewed into a fine Mush and slowly slides down your throat, it's like a unicorn granting you a wish. Eat here. You will love it. Actually, this place is disgusting.

Awesome hometown food and the best pies ever!

We ate lunch at Bud's after driving 7+ hours from southern WV. I'd heard about their pies in a chatroom and just had to try a slice. Although I was disappointed that they didn't have my favorite lemon meringue that day the pineapple cream I got was good. I had a burger and hubby had the turkey Reuben with coconut cream pie. Everything was good. We much prefer supporting locally owned restaurants over chains. This was a good choice.

3 egg veggie omelet and sourdough toast, very tasty, coffee was good and the cup stayed full. Enjoyed a little banter with the friendly wait staff as well.

We love Bud's! Thankfully there is still a place that treats you like family, is friendly and has the BEST PIE EVER ON THE PLANET. It's no joke folks! GET THERE!

Bud's is a Defiance institution. They have a friendly staff, great food, and they will always have the coffee at the ready. While it may be crowded, particularly around lunchtime, the staff move with peak efficiency to serve everyone, and the wait for a table is never long. No trip to Bud's would be complete without a slice of one of their delicious pies. I make it a point to go whenever I am home. in many ways, a trip home couldn't be a trip home without visiting Bud's.

Good food. Excellent homemade pie, can't leave without a piece.
